Mark making - cracked light part 4

Hi there, I'm Dwaine.
Currently I am creating several blogs on the first term at college or university and what is kind of expected of you.  So mark making can lead you in many different directions whether that be using your hands and different media on paper to create marks, or using a camera, sewing machine or a computer to create them.   Honestly, the best way to create a mark is with your hands because your drawing and your hands are always going to be unique to another person.

However, if you are a terrible drawer or have limited ability like me and are more computer/technology savvy you can explore the awesome concept of 'destroy and capture'.

So this is what you can do with an antique sony ericsson camera, a light bulb and a cracked care window! It's perfectly fine to create a mark like what I am doing below, but make sure you do things that you can translate into a body of work.

As a designer I am completely seduced by light, whether that be natural or artificial.  Their effects are remarkable different.  In this project I was inspired by the round light bulb and the light it creates.

Hope you enjoy!
