In this tutorial I am going to teach you the very basic purl stitch. This is one of the main stitches you will use in any knit project. Mostly used on the back of a fabric to create a flat surface on the front.
So, I've made the tutorial quite basic and focused on this one thing so you don't get confused, but shout up if you need help. I'm here for you!
Take your time to learn this, its very important to learn the technique and to get a nice tension once you are confident. In the beginning, you may create tight stitches, which isn't correct but as a learner its fine. I make the mistake of holding my yarn too tight all the time so no worries.
